SkyWall 2001, mechanical-structural glazing curtain wall, is patented and utilizes specially designed aluminium profiles providing a perfect grip and mechanical retention of the glass.

  1. The advanced solution for openings allows any element to become openable, before or after the installation by the simple application of a specially designed safety handle.

  2. Any change in the configuration of the openings is always possible at practically no extra cost.

  3. The aesthetic result of the SkyWall 2001 is an uninterrupted continuity of glazed surfaces marked only by a thin strip of profile. The beauty and the aesthetic of the curtain wall is therefore maintained and assured.

  4. A perfect and reliable waterproofing is guaranteed.

  5. The elements can be fitted with a wide range of glass: double, laminated, toughened, reflective. Various interesting compositions and colour combinations - glass/profiles - are possible.

  6. Openable panels with a completely new concealed opening system, viewed from the exterior, are identical to the fixed panels.

  1. Certification and Testing

All testings for SkyWall 2001 were carried out in compliance with UEATC European Standards

  1. Air-Tightness

  2. Test resulted in a permeability of 1,65 m3/hr/m2, and 2,72 m3/hr/m2 at a pressure of 600 Pa (class A3 air-permeability).

  3. Water Tightness

  4. Test revealed no infiltration at a pressure of 500 Pa (class E4 water permeability).

  5. Wind Resistance

  6. Test showed no functional deterioration after a pressure gust of + 3150 Pa and a suction gust of - 3.500 Pa (class V3 wind resistance).
